Morning of My Life - The Best of / 1965-66 is the first ever Bee Gees' best of collection to focus solely on their Australian recordings. This inexpensively-priced 3 CD set contains individual replica editions of the three LP's (The Bee Gees Sing & Play 14 Barry Gibb Songs / Spicks And Specks / Turn Around, Look At Us), each lovingly remastered from original analog tapes and packaged in a nicely designed slipcase with an eight page booklet featuring liner notes by Glenn A Baker.

The Singles started playing the Sydney inner city scene in the early 1980s in venues such as the Civic, Rock Garden, Chequers, Frenchs, the Paddington Green and the Heritage Hotel. Their sound was post punk art pop reminiscent of the Buzzcocks. The songs are simple, melodic, catchy and straight to the point pop.

Included are a radio interview from 1971 and liner notes by surf music historian Stephen J McParland, filmmaker Paul Witzig and Tully's Michael Carlos and Richard Lockwood.

The Tribesmen came out of Brisbane in the early '80s recording two classic singles for Citadel. This release picks up the story where former Radio Birdman/Hitmen guitarist Chris Masuak joined the group and compiles the two defining 12" releases Date With A Vampyre EP from 1985 and its follow up, Top of The Town from 1986. Both of these releases are in their entirety for the first time ever on CD, together with nearly an album's worth of bonus tracks!

This was the only album released by the Screaming Tribesmen line-up featuring former Radio Birdman/Hitmen guitarist Chris Masuak. Recorded at the peak of their powers and popularity in 1987, Bones & Flowers took the band to the States where they came close to a hit single with I Got A Feeling. This CD features the album's original 10 tracks, several B-sides, 3 previously unreleased 1986 demos and a previously unreleased live track from 1988. 16 tracks in all.

Workhorse is a stunning statement, a blues-wailing, guitar-soaked testament to Masuak's standing as one of Australia's most talented guitarists. Its 14 tracks are cathartic and striking in their directness, full of ironclad riffs but with powerful melody lines not far from the surface.

We scored a limited number of tour leftovers from the band's recent set of dates promoting their double CD reissue 12 Days To Paris. There is only a front print featuring the praying mantis image found on the front cover of the I Will Persuade You single. So no dates on the back although it's a tour shirt. Sizes: S - L - XL

This much-loved Melbourne '80s band was often considered that city's answer to the Hoodoo Gurus and the Sunnyboys. Despite never having a smash hit, the band came close a couple of times, and this album includes those classic singles - My Cheri Amore, I Will Persuade You and Autumn Leaves. The band's first single The Murderess and its b-side have been added. The bonus disc is a treasure trove for fans, featuring 15 live and demo recordings.

Brisbane natives Ups & Downs produced some of the finest pop-rock songs of Australia's post-punk era. All of their A-sides, select B-sides, the entire mini-album Sleepless, some band favourites and some unreleased tracks have now been collated on this first ever and long-overdue Ups & Downs career compilation.

This double CD compilation is as the title suggests - a celebration of the blues-based sounds that dominated Australian music in the early 70s and onwards. It features many of the all-time biggest names in Australian rock, including Billy Thorpe & the Aztecs, Chain, Cold Chisel, Daddy Cool, Skyhooks, Rose Tattoo, the Angels, Lobby Loyde & the Coloured Balls, Max Merritt & the Meteors and numerous others that were household names back in the 70s.

This swansong 16 track CD release was recorded 'live' in June 2007 during the US leg of the band's world tour to promote Zeno Beach. The limited edition vinyl comes with a nice full colour inner bag and a bonus download card of the tracks found on the LP. It's missing three tracks that are on the CD however.
