Sydney based The On and Ons feature singer/songwriter/guitarist Glenn Morris, his brother Brian Morris (drums/vocals), Clyde Bramley (bass/vocals) and Jon Roberts (guitar). Playing in what could best be described as the powerpop genre, the band's musical pedigree includes Hoodoo Gurus, Screaming Tribesmen, Paul Collins Beat, and The Barbarellas.
The band's debut, It's The On & Ons Calling, has been well received around the globe with the band developing a dedicated local live following gaining supports with such household Australian names as Radio Birdman, The Flaming Hands, and Even.
Welcome Aboard is their new album and has been produced by band members Glenn and Clyde and mixed once again by Dennis Wilson of early 70s Khavas Jute fame. It features 13 songs that follow and expand upon the guitar-driven sound of the previous disc with vocal harmonies abounding.
The band is aided and abetted by a number of guests including Richard Lane (ex-Stems) on organ, and Murray Cook (ex-The Wiggles) on Fender 12 string.
