Danny's third solo album shows him combining traditional R&R with power pop, 60's surf and indie pop. An unpretentious and timeless body of work capturing the Australian condition and 70's Australian surf culture like no other.
The sound of The Darling Downs' debut album is the sound of Ron Peno's voice and Kim Salmon's acoustic guitar. Kim and Ron themselves don't know where the 'songs' came from. They just got together and played them into existence.
From One To Another follows its predecessor down the 'One Guitar - One Voice' path but brings along a banjo along for some of the journey. Whatever the ghost of Bill Monroe might think, you will definitely approve.
Debut album from this Wollongong group. Several of them are currently in the New Christs. Produced by Rob Younger. What more do you want? "An in-your-face fire and grittiness about this album that'll leave an indelible mark if you get too close"

This record was a studio collaboration between Deniz Tek and Pennsylvanian based group, The Stump Wizards. It leans toward a garage punk/rock style. The LP version is long deleted and hard to find. Coloured vinyl too.

Tracks have been derived from multiple album and EP releases, many of which are currently out of print or hard to find. Attractively packaged in a 6 panel foldout cardboard wallet with a booklet of liner notes.
This album was a radical departure into the realms of the experimental. If you expect hard rock you may be disappointed. Many people however, think it is his best solo work to date.
Recorded live in Australia during Deniz' July 1998 Equinox tour, this release is a warts and all effort that is mainly available via this mailorder.
Extremely limited edition French single featuring two previously unreleased tracks.
Deniz's first CD on Citadel, this is an 11 track album containing a slice of hard rock but also some more experimental material. It is currently deleted with no prospects of a reissue. Hard to readily locate.
This EP features the ballad Bad Road, a Le Bonne Route sessions out-take + 5 other mainly unreleased tracks.
This generic release contains three Le Bonne Route tracks and three non album out-takes. A limited number of pressings were made to coincide with an Italian tour of 1996.
Black shirt with Tek's famous Epiphone guitar on the front and red Citadel Years Australian tour dates on the back. Sizes: Only L and XL are left now.
Deniz Tek with the twin brothers, Art and Steve Godoy, make up this power trio format playing basic no frills hard rock with a brutal rhythm section, loud electric guitar, and deceptively simple songs. Leans towards the punk end of the spectrum.
Left overs from Tek's recent August 2011 US dates with the Godoy twins featuring as the Golden Breed. It's a black shirt with a pic of Deniz playing his Epiphone. Dates in red on the bottom although several were cancelled due to a hurricane. Sizes: M - L - XL
Their first album and it's a timeless piece of work that holds up even today. The CD release was remastered at the time with the single Stoneage Cinderella being appended to supply two bonus tracks. This Citadel version has been deleted now and these are the last few copies.
A compile of their early Citadel singles and EPs. It sounds and runs like it's a proper album and many people think it's one of their best releases! There's something to be said for the opinion that the early lineup of the band and its songwriting approach has never been matched. This Citadel version has been deleted now and these are the last few copies.
After an extensive period of being deleted Doughboy has finally been reissued with extensive liner notes and a bonus disc of mainly album demos showing the album's genesis. All tracks have been remastered. Essential!
The last album from the irrepressible Died Pretty. Moves dramatically in the direction of electronica but is still essentially them. Long term fans were divided but most seem to come around in the end.
Collected here, for the first time, are Died Pretty's first five releases: the Out Of The Unknown and Mirror Blues singles, the Next To Nothing EP, the Free Dirt album and the Stoneage Cinderella single. Plus an additional 10 bonus tracks - including previously unreleased demos, a live-to-air radio performance from 1986 and other live rarities. This release comes in a digipak, with a 28 page booklet containing previously unpublished photos. It has been digitally remastered from the original master tapes.
It took them 15 years before releasing this Best Of. And how great is it!
Musically quite different to previous records though patently Died Pretty despite the direction changes and emphasis on keyboards. It is a rich musical work requiring effort from the listener.
This 4 track EP was recorded after the band's amicable departure from Sony/Columbia. A tidy little slab of pop rock.
The last recording ever made by the band. A very limited edition 3 track single.
This three track single was the first to be taken off Using My Gills. It contains two non album b-sides. The a-side is more a 'traditional' Died Pretty song and is quite different to the rest of the album.
The second single from Using My Gills, this one is a limited edition and numbered. It contains one non album b-side.
Sony put out this sampler of early material soon after they signed the band. It contains five previously releases tracks and it's for collectors only. The artwork was grabbed from the Sweetheart video.

The band pressed up several hundred copies of this for their recent SxSW appearance as well as selling them on a Spanish tour they did in March 2011. We got a few.
Reissue of a DM3 B-sides compile that was released a few years ago to coincide with a tour of Italy. This is a great sounding release and many tracks compete with their studio album equivalents.
Their last album. The addition of ex Stems bass player Julian Matthews made its mark giving this record a warm and rounded sound. Did we forget? The songs are great.
This EP features 3 album tracks off One Time Two Times Three Red Light. There are also 3 alternative mixes of tracks off the same album. Long deleted but we still have a few.
The only single off the last album Rippled Soul. This one continues the tradition of DM3's primo power pop. Contains two non album b-sides. A limited edition print.
This EP was the second single off the Road To Rome album. It contains 4 non album b-sides including a live version of Foolish.
This, the first single off the Road To Rome album, has been well and truly deleted for some years now and these are the last few mint copies. Has 2 non album b-sides.
Japanese double A-side pressing that features the track Snapshot taken off the Off The Hip release Shell Collection and Can't Get What You Want taken off the album Road To Rome.
This is easily their best album to date. "The Dolly Rocker Movement are a psychedelic rock band, smattered with pop sensibility like ink blots dropped onto a celluloid backdrop." You get the picture? Yes we see.
And now for something a little different. Sydney's Dolly Rocker Movement are equal parts Velvet Underground, Brian Jonestown Massacre and gorgeous west-coast folk. Blending quaint psychedelia and haunting jabs of love, Dolly Rocker Movement pervades a space in your brain that's reserved for acid.
This is their second album and shows that Dolly Rocker Movement have developed a style and sound bearing a true influence of late 60's garage, psychedelia and freak beat, with splashes of west coast folk.
Rewind and Play handpicks 12 songs from various Mariani vehicles, from Stems singles For Always and At First Sight to overlooked band and solo gems, and recasts them in a warm semi-acoustic light more redolent of classic American storytellers than the rock underground of his salad days.
Debut solo album from Australia's one and only power pop maestro. If you are into the Stems and DM3 you are going to go for this.
Citadel was really happy to have released this one - a double CD anthology of all of Dom Mariani's work that features tracks from The Stems, The Someloves, DM3, The Stonefish, The Stoneage Hearts and Majestic Kelp. This Citadel version is deleted now.
4 cuts that have never appeared on any of Dom's long players, including 2 songs exclusive to this release. Most tracks here are appearing on CD for the first time.
Limited edition shirt - three colours printed on raw cotton. Comes in (L) only.
3 years after their acclaimed debut album Underwater Casino, the Kelp now return with their second offering. If you love surf, you'll love this.
Killer surf guitar meets pop garage grooves. Stems/DM3 frontman Dom Mariani started off in a surf band and has never completely relinquished the influence. This is an instrument album. If you're into the genre don't miss out on it.
Japanese pressing that features the track Tijuana Dreamin' taken off the release Underwater Casino and a previously unreleased mix of The Golden Ones also originally found on Underwater Casino.
Interesting little slab of Mariani's work with Neil Fernandes formerly of Perth's The Manikins. I Never Thought I'd Find is a cover of the Manikin's track while the other two tracks are new.
The DomNicks combine the Perth legend Dom Mariani (The Stems, DM3, Someloves) with the British punk attack of Nick Shepherd (The Clash, The Cortinas).
The Dunhill Blues are now laying claim to being the greatest Blues-Punk-Country-Garage-Rock-Psychedelic-Soul-Revival band going around...... and that's not such a bad thing.
The band's debut single and what a beauty. A veritable Who's Who's of 80's Australian alternative musicians found in bands such as The Scientists, Hoodoo Gurus and The Johnnys to name just a few.
