Press Release
Renowned, Perth rock'n'rollers The Volcanics, are pleased to announce the release of their new full length album, Get A Move On, released October 19th on Citadel Records.

The album was recorded in Perth at Yo Yo Studios and produced by Australian rock icon Rob Younger (Radio Birdman / New Christs) and mixed by another legend of Aussie rock, Wayne Connolly, at Sydney's Albert Studios.

The boys deliver the usual brand of dirty rock'n'roll that they have become synonymous with The Victims, The Rockets, and Wayne Green and the Phantoms, just to name a few of their local influences and predecessors.

For the uninitiated, The Volcanics have been consistently producing high quality rock'n'roll for several years now and have shared the stage with local and international bands such as The Saints, Radio Birdman, The New York Dolls, Mudhoney, Dinosaur Jr, You Am I and The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion as well as playing The Big Day Out and this year's sold out, In The Pines festival.
