First new recordings for legendary Sydney band - led by Radio Birdman guitarist Chris Masuak, and Birdman cohort Johnny Kannis - in nearly 20 years! This absolutely scorching live set sees them primarily backing enigmatic Detroit Chanteuse Niagara, formerly of Ron Asheton's two post-Stooges bands Destroy All Monsters and Dark Carnival. Niagara is also highly regarded in the underground art and comix world for her artwork, some of which graces the packaging.
This live set, recorded in front of a full-house in Sydney in 2008 (Niagara was out her for an exhibition of her artwork; she'd toured Australia previously in 1991, with the band led by her and Ron Asheton called Dark Carnival, with the Hitmen in support) contains killer versions of Destroy All Monsters and Dark Carnival faves like 'Bored' and 'Your Gonna Die', Stooges classics like 'Little Doll' and 'TV Eye', as well as three tracks by the Hitmen, including a brand new (and very Dictators like) original called 'Lost Weekend', and the long lost, never before officially released tune that Masuak first wrote and performed with Radio Birdman, called 'Death By The Gun'.
